Also this year Techfood reconfirms its presence among the exhibitors at Sigep, the International Exhibition dedicated to the world of artisanal gelato and sweetening . The Fair, as always, is the most awaited professional appointment in Italy and for the 2020 edition we have some aces up our sleeves. We don't want to reveal too much, but we are eager to announce the presence of chef Simone Rugiati at our stand. So here are 3 reasons to visit us ( and if you can't, to follow the Facebook event ).
1. Four dishes for bars proposed by Rugiati
Say goodbye to the usual cooked and fontina sandwiches and the tireless tuna and egg sandwiches , even fast food can be sophisticated and effective . A revolutionary thought, at the basis of the new collaboration between Techfood and chef Simone Rugiati.
Rugiati is one of the most loved and well-known faces in television cooking and has agreed to prepare 4 recipes with Combi Wave and Combi Wave Smart, the two Techfood counter systems designed for ultra-fast restaurants. You can discover them in preview on January 20 at Sigep 2020 , when the Chef will be a guest at the Techfood stand. And if you really can't resist your curiosity, we bring you two recipes in advance: an impossible vegan burger with an onion ring and a trio of salmon presented as a skewer, tartare and steak.
2. The winner of the Chef Da Counter challenge
To promote the fast food revolution, we have launched a challenge dedicated to creative baristas in the kitchen . Until Friday 17 January you can participate in the challenge with your favorite recipe. The best one will be proclaimed by Simone Rugiati in front of the public of the Rimini Fair and inserted in the electronic recipe book of the Combi oven line. In addition, the winner will receive a Techfood surprise to increase local sales.
3. The two new products from Techfood
As Sigep exhibitors we have the opportunity to offer the horeca public innovative and profitable sector news. Last year we presented Combi Wave Smart , the winner of the Barawards 2018 best technology award.
This year there will be two novelties: Choco Pizza and Steamì . The first is added to the Choco offer already made up of Choco Kebab and Choco Burger. A proposal for places that aim to take the public gently. Steamì, on the other hand, is a handy wand that shoots steam. An alternative to the classic regeneration methods of pre-cooked products such as soups, rice and porridge; or a new way to prepare scrambled eggs without waste or leftovers, starting from a dehydrated base in powder.
